These terms apply when you use alwayssomebody.com ("Always Somebody", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old. By using the site you confirm you are. We may lock any account we believe belongs to someone under 18.

2. What the service is

Always Somebody connects you with other people for one-on-one text chat, and lets two people who both choose to "save" each other keep in touch. We do not check who people are. People you meet are strangers, and you are responsible for how you deal with them.

3. Your behaviour

You agree to follow the Rules. In particular you won't harass anyone, send unwanted sexual content, spam, scam, impersonate others, share other people's private information, or do anything illegal. You're responsible for what you send.

4. What we can do

We can end chats, limit who you're matched with, pause or permanently block devices and networks, and remove messages, at any time and without notice, to keep the site safe. We may report illegal content, especially anything involving minors, to the authorities.

5. Content

You keep ownership of what you write. You give us permission to transmit it and, for friend messages, store it so the service works. We don't sell your messages and we don't use them for advertising.

6. No guarantees

The service is provided "as is". We don't promise it will always be available, that you'll be matched with anyone, or that other users will behave well. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for anything other users say or do, or for any indirect or consequential loss.

7. Changes

We may change the service or these terms. If we change the terms in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top. Continuing to use the site means you accept the new terms.

8. Ending

You can stop using Always Somebody at any time. To remove your friends and their messages, remove each friend from the Friends panel, then clear your browser's data for this site.
